Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG)

Groundswell was commissioned by the DCLG to undertake a national consultation with homeless people on their Supporting People Strategy. The resulting report ‘Being Supported’ was recently published. Click Here to download the report.

St Mungo’s

Groundswell undertook a year long commission by, London’s largest homelessness service provider, to assist them in developing and implementing a user involvement strategy. The project saw Groundswell conduct a peer-lead participation audit; train senior management, frontline staff and service users create service-user groups in projects and is being overseen by a user-led steering group.

Brent Council

Groundswell organised a series of workshops and a conference to bring together Brent Council, Homeless Agencies and homeless people to develop a Compact on how they work together. This work led to the founding of Brent Homeless Users Group.

Westminster Council

Groundswell organised a Speakout style consultation event to enable homeless people to feed into the council’s Supporting People Strategy.
